North Liberty Area

Located in Liberty Township, North Liberty is a thriving community in the South Bend-Mishawaka area that’s deeply rooted in St. Joseph County’s history. In fact, Liberty township is one of the earliest settled locations in the county, and North Liberty’s population has grown every census since 1980. North Liberty Park is offers residents a place to play baseball, take strolls through nature, and cool off from summer heat at a spray pad. And both are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The North Liberty area is home to Potato Creek State Park, featuring 3,840 acres of nature with kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding and camping opportunities for outdoor lovers in the region.
