South Bend Area REALTORS®
The South Bend Area REALTORS® are real estate professional, including real estate brokers, property managers and appraisers, who belong to the National Association of REALTORS® and the Indiana Association of REALTORS®, serving all of the St. Joseph County. We pride ourselves as being the “Voice of Real Estate” in our communities. Locally, we have almost 600 REALTOR® members who help people find that amazing place we all like to call home.
We are voluntary, membership organization, providing our members with educational, networking and community outreach opportunities. Additionally, we maintain a Multiple Listing Service, the forum through which information on properties for sale are shared among our members. We partner with other local organizations and governmental agencies to maintain and improve the quality of life within our community. We promote and protect private property rights which are vital to achieving the American Dream of Homeownership for everyone in our community.
We have been a part of this community for over 100 years! We promote professionalism among our members through the REALTORS® Code of Ethics. Being a REALTOR® is more than just being a licensed real estate broker. Being a REALTOR® means you are committed to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics, have standards that go above and beyond the requirements of your real estate license and are part of a nationwide organization promoting the importance of property ownership as a means to building personal wealth, diverse neighborhoods, strong communities and quality of life for all.
National Association of REALTORS®
As mentioned above, we are part of the National Association of REALTORS®, the nation’s largest trade association, with a membership of over 1.4 million! The National Association of REALTORS® focuses on promoting home ownership and private property rights on a nation-wide basis. They work closely with local Associations, such as ours, and state Associations to promote and protect homeownership rights throughout the county. Indiana Association of REALTORS®
Additionally, we are part of the Indiana Association of REALTORS®, an organization that represents over 18,000 members throughout the State of Indiana.
